Functions
- Identification and prioritization of projects keeping in view the socio-economic scenario for the development of agriculture sector in the province.
- Preparation of draft position reports for the consideration of Donors.
- Facilitate different formations of Agriculture Department for identification, preparation and processing of projects in-order to materialize the financial assistance, offered by Donors.
- Monitoring, evaluation and follow up of foreign aided and Public Sector Development projects (PSDP).
- Providing guide line based on facts/ data for proper policy decisions, planning and execution of various plans related to agriculture development.
- Undertake Bench Mark Survey and assist the other wings of agriculture department for the conduct of feasibility studies and engagement of consultants under different technical assistance programs.
- Dealing the policy issues at Government level with respect to Cotton, Rice, Sugarcane and Oilseed crops.
- Foreign investment proposals and other matters related to collaboration with foreign countries
- Any other assignment entrusted by the Government.
