Functional Set-up

Media Unit
The functions and responsibilities of the Media Unit are described as follows:
  • To liaison between government of Punjab and PARB.
  • Edit and publish PARB technical reports and other research publications.
  • Prepare documentaries, broachers, and briefs about PARB and research results from PARB funded projects and disseminate these to various stakeholders.
  • Maintain agricultural database and make it available to PARB staff and other stakeholders through website.
  • Communicate research results using mass media.
  • Publish PARB newsletter, technical bulletins, and research reports, etc.
  • Assist CE in preparation of presentations and meeting material.
  • Arrange press and media coverage of PARB events
  • Maintain reference library for the benefit of scientists.
