- Audio and Video production on agriculture.
- Issuing features and press releases to the national/regional newspapers/magazines.
- Bringing out special supplements of news papers and magazines on agriculture.
- Keeping liaison with DGPR, newspapers, news agencies, radio & T.V. channels.
- Publishing publicity ads. in newspapers/magazines.
- Planning and implementation of special publicity campaigns through print & electronic media.
- To improve communication skills of professionals working in various formations of Agriculture and allied departments by arranging training courses for professionals in “Information Science and Agricultural Journalism”.
- Organizing seminars/workshops and media briefings.
- Publishing Journals of Agricultural Research (Quarterly), Agricultural Research Courier (monthly), Agricultural Abstracts Bulletin (monthly), Current Awareness Bulletin (monthly) and Annual Research Report.
- Extending technical guidance and assisting farmers in resolving their emergent field problems through Punjab Agriculture Helpline # 0800-15000 and 0800-29000.
- Managing and updating official website of Agriculture Department, Punjab www.agripunjab.gov.pk on regular basis.
