Requirements of basic seed of vegetables is 198
tons which will be achieved upto 2010 with annual increase of 29%
Multiple cropping such as: Potato-Onion-Dhancha (GM)-Radish, Onion-Onion-Dhancha
(GM)-Radish.
Nursery raising techniques in chillies, onion, tomato, cauliflower,
lettuce, cabbage and brinjal will be standardized upto 2010.
To produce early and off-season vegetables for supply during a time
of shortage, vegetable forcing will be popularized.
Export oriented research on high value vegetable will be completed
upto 2010.
